- This is outrageous!!! Either it should be part of taxes or there should not be a fee to begin with. My fire dept. is a volunteer one and there is no fee the costs are in with my taxes. They should be taken to court to find a better solution.

- He is suspended for calling her cute? That is wrong ESPECIALLY since if he would have called her ugly he probably wouldn't have been. Take the compliment and move on. If he had tried to grab her or say more than she was cute and made sexual references then fine. BUT HE DID NOT.

- It is plain wrong to seperate them. African penguins mate for life!!!! I think it a better solution would be to find two other males that have not pair-bonded at all. Out of the 200 thousand + other penguins it should not be hard to find a couple younger males.

- @ down with big brother....Most animals that are used in the fur trade or for their skins are skinned alive. They don't want the blood all over the skin/fur. As gory as that sounds it is true and I have seen it done in person unfortunately (not just on video).

- I don't care for snakes. However, the way they (or any animal) are killed for their skins is definitely inhumane! Skinned ALIVE; this happens all the time and it is disgusting. Whether you like PETA or not, isn't the issue here. The article is about the inhumane process of it all.

- Yahoo has an updated story. They are holding the mom. They viewed the tapes and saw here driving away without her baby. She needs to be dropped from that height and left to die. What is WRONG with people.

- Please where I live (and anywhere men exist) there will be dead beat dads. The women in my area go to college and get a better paying job so they can raise their kids. I am quite sure if they realized you haters would be ripping her apart, they may have included her gpa, and child support info.
